Kerr Elementary is excited to partner with our Kerr PTA to bring back our annual spelling bee.  Any student in Kindergarten-Sixth grade may try out for the spelling bee by signing up for the written test. Students must be registered in order to participate in the written test. Registration is now open and will close at 4:00 on November 7th.  Our spelling bee written test is on Tuesday, November 8th during your child’s recess. Make-ups will be held on November 10th during your child’s recess.  The top three spellers from each grade will be invited to our Kerr Junior Oral Spelling Bee (K-2) or our Kerr Oral Spelling Bee (3-6) on Thursday, December 8th at  6:00.

PTA will notify parents of the students who will advance to our Kerr Junior Oral Spelling Bee (K-2) and our Kerr Oral Spelling Bee (3-6). We will have a Kerr Junior Spelling Bee winner (K-2) and a Kerr Oral Spelling Bee winner (3-6). The winner of our 3-6 Kerr Oral Spelling Bee will advance to the District Spelling Bee in early January.
