PTA Meeting - 3/5/26

Join us TONIGHT for our 3rd PTA Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 5th at 4pm in the Kerr Cafeteria! Come for the pizza but stay for the fun.

We will be voting for our 2026-2027 PTA board members and presenting Lifetime Achievement awards. You don't want to miss this!

Following our meeting at 5:30pm, we will have a special program hosted by Allen ISD's Raising Eagles Program: Road to Resilience. More information available at AllenISD.org/RaisingEagles.

2026-2027 Kerr Elementary PTA Slate of Officers

Thank you to everyone that volunteered to serve on the Kerr PTA board next year. The nominating committee has made the following recommendations for the slate of officers for the 2026-2027 year.

Student Runners Breakfast - 3/6/26

Tomorrow morning we will be hosting our pre-race Runner's Breakfast for students that signed up for Allen Eagle Run.

It will be held in the MPR from 7:30am-7:45am.

Allen ISD Eagle Run

It's Allen ISD Eagle Run time - help Kerr Elementary reach our goal of 100 registrations! 🏃

💫 Reach our goal & registered students get to SLIME Mrs. Halpin or Coach Yost!
💫 The grade with the most registrations earns an extra recess!
💫 Earn house points when you register AND the house color with the most registrations receives extra house points!

STAAR SNACKS NEEDED!

Let’s bring some yummy cheer for 3rd-6th grade students that will have STAAR testing next month. Scan the QR code below to have items sent directly to the school.

Spring Picnic

Kerr PTA invites you to join us for our Spring Picnic on Saturday, April 11th from 5:00-7:00pm. Our family friendly event will be held in the Kerr field.

We'll have so many activities for all ages. Plus, Raising Cane's and Kraus Orthodontics are sponsoring our event bringing our families lemonade and snow cones! You won't want to miss this event!

Senior Scholarships

Do you have any current high school seniors that attended Kerr? Spread the word!

Kerr PTA is proud to offer senior scholarships for Kerr student alumni on their journey to higher education. Applications are due April 17th. Scan the QR code or have them apply here.

Join Comet Cleanup Crew for our final cleanup date of the school year on Tuesday, April 21 from 3-4pm! Help us cleanup Kerr PTA's Adopt-A-Road street to keep our community beautiful!

We are excited to announce that our Kerr PTA members can receive a 10% discount at Mathnasium in Allen!!! Mathnasium has worked with Kerr PTA for years to make our STEAM nights a success! We are excited for this opportunity for our Kerr PTA families!
