Does your child have a real passion for Art or Design? Consider applying for the Kerr Elementary PTA’s Art Club.

We are very excited to announce the launch of the Art Club. This is an opportunity for your child to grow and more fully develop their artistic drive and expression.

Here’s what we have planned. Interested students will complete an application. These applications will be reviewed, candidates will be selected. Club Meetings will be held every other week on Tuesdays after school. We will help the child select a project to be completed at home. These projects can be done with whatever materials the child possess at home. These projects will serve as the springboard to understanding the process of objective thinking and logic in the creation of art. Looking closely at technique and motivation will help students to reach their artistic goals. Helping them to understand the “why” in the creative process.

This is not a craft club. It is geared toward students grades 4-6 who have a real passion for art and design.
