From the bottom of our hearts — thank you! Because of your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit, our fundraiser didn’t just meet its goal — we surpassed it! Together, we raised $27,302.02, reaching 102% of our target for the Kerr PTA.

Every dollar you contributed helps us create meaningful programs, classroom resources, and experiences that directly benefit our students and teachers. Whether you donated, shared our campaign, or encouraged others to participate, you played a vital role in making this success possible.

The 2025 Fall Book Fair is returning tomorrow evening on October 24th at 5pm during our Fall Fest. Book Fair will also be open to students and families during school hours October 27th through October 31, 2025.

It's not too late!! We're still looking for enthusiastic hosts for our Treat Stations at our Fall Fest. Setup for volunteers begins at 4:30pm. We are also looking for more candy donations to spread Halloween cheer to our Kerr families. Candy donations can be brought directly to the front office.

Kerr PTA and Kerr Elementary are excited to partner for our annual Spelling Bee on Tuesday, December 2nd from 6-7:30pm. As an officially enrolled school with the Scripps National Spelling Bee, the Kerr Spelling Bee is an exciting tradition and a wonderful opportunity for our student spellers to compete on the local and possibly national level.

Does your child like science? Does he/she like experiments? Does he/she like putting together projects? Then the science fair is for your child! Open to 1st through 6th grade students!  Please complete this informational form if you are interested in participating in the science fair this year (2025-2026). This form is due by Friday, November 21st. The project is due to Ms. Tran (room 110) no later than Monday, December 15, 2025.

Start the holiday season off right, choose between a non-competitive FUN RUN, TIMED 5K, or UNTIMED 5K. This event is perfect for all ages and family members.  

After the race stick around for the annual tree lighting and holiday festival including Santa, light-up displays, crafts, food, trucks, entertainment and much more.

Want to help out each week, however you don't know what you could do? We have the perfect solution. We are looking for parents to help make copies for the teachers. This simple act makes a BIG difference. Come make copies for 30 minutes or stay a bit longer. We will take any support you are able to give. If you have questions or would like more information, please reach out to julie.spielman@allenisd.org and she will find a time to get you trained.

Joining PTA supports academic programs, family events and so much more! The PTA works with school administration and staff, community leaders, and other parents on behalf of our kids. Being involved in your child's school matters and it makes a difference! Join us on this journey.

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY

In order to volunteer on any Allen ISD campus including chaperoning field trips, you must receive a cleared background check from AISD. This must be done once a year, and each cleared background check runs from July to the following June. Please follow the link to complete this as soon as possible if you haven't done so already! 

We are excited to announce that our Kerr PTA members can receive a 10% discount at Mathnasium in Allen!!! Mathnasium has worked with Kerr PTA for years to make our STEAM nights a success! We are excited for this opportunity for our Kerr PTA families!

It's easy to do - just visit our website and go to My Account>Calendar Subscriptions. Select the calendars you'd like to subscribe to - PTA events like movie nights, bookfair and funfest will automatically update to your calendar.
