The Galaxy Press is the free newsletter for the Kerr Elementary PTA. The newsletter contains articles about ongoing and upcoming PTA events, reminders, and news from our school. A second opportunity to participate in Kerr Clean Up day is coming up on Monday, January 29th from 3:00-4:00pm. All parents, students, and teachers who would like to participate need to complete the one-time mandatory Safety Training that will be held the week before on Monday, January 22nd from 3:00-4:00pm. Registration for the 16th Annual Allen Eagle Run is now OPEN! The Allen ISD Eagle Run hosted by the Foundation For Allen Schools is a true community tradition! This year you can run the race four ways: 

(1) a Fun Run/Walk (1 mile)

(2) 5K Run/Walk on a USATF Certified Course 

(3) A Sleep in Entry (for those who simply want the shirt or 

(4) A Virtual Race from anywhere! All proceeds directly fund educational classroom grants, teacher support and student scholarships, along with Allen PTA programs and campus projects! *We are currently in need of additional copy helpers for our wonderful teachers! Copy helpers do not need to make copies for their child's grade level, they can make them for other grades as well. Allen ISD Background Check

Interested in volunteering at Kerr Elementary or another Allen ISD school this year? Be sure to complete your required background check! Background checks take up to 2 weeks to complete.

Select the calendars you'd like to subscribe to - PTA events like movie nights, bookfair and funfest will automatically update to your calendar.
