The Galaxy Press is the free newsletter for the Kerr Elementary PTA. The newsletter contains articles about ongoing and upcoming PTA events, reminders, and news from our school. Culture Share was on Tuesday November 28^th from 6pm-8pm! Wow! What an amazing evening of diverse and wonderful music, taekwondo, food, creativity, and cultural education! Kerr PTA would like to say thank you so much to all the participating parents, staff and families for their hard work on this event! Events like these are only possible with your help and it’s always greatly appreciated! Please remember that Kerr PTA is a 100% volunteer organization – and it takes many hands to provide these wonderful events.

PTA has some AMAZING in-school STEM programs planned for our Kerr Comets! These type of programs are only made possible through fundraising from our community! These things can’t happen without YOUR support. 

Please join us in congratulating the following Kerr Comets! These students have qualified via the written spelling bee grade-level tests to proceed on to the Kerr School Spelling Bee on December 5th! And great job to all of our written Spelling Bee participants as well - there was some great competition this year with some very talented spellers!

Registration for the 16th Annual Allen Eagle Run is now OPEN! The Allen ISD Eagle Run hosted by the Foundation For Allen Schools is a true community tradition! This year you can run the race four ways: 

(1) a Fun Run/Walk (1 mile)

(2) 5K Run/Walk on a USATF Certified Course 

(3) A Sleep in Entry (for those who simply want the shirt or 

(4) A Virtual Race from anywhere! All proceeds directly fund educational classroom grants, teacher support and student scholarships, along with Allen PTA programs and campus projects! Interested in volunteering at Kerr Elementary or another Allen ISD school this year? Be sure to complete your required background check! Background checks take up to 2 weeks to complete.
