The Galaxy Press is the free newsletter for the Kerr Elementary PTA. The newsletter contains articles about ongoing and upcoming PTA events, reminders, and news from our school. On Tuesday, March 19th, Membership approved to accept the bylaws and standing rules changes. All changes are identified in markups shown in the Membership Meeting Minutes section of the website.

Discounted tickets are available through 3/26/24. All meal tickets must be purchased in advance by 4/1! Everyone (4+) attending is required to have an entry wristband. Meal tickets sold separately, in advance. Lots of fun awaits including bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides and more!

In-N-Out Food tickets must be purchased in Advance.

The class with the MOST tickets purchased will have a silly string celebration with Ms. Halpin!

We are so excited to bring the Literati Spring Book Fair to all our Kerr students in March! Online sales are now open here. Students will be able to purchase books in person from 3/25-3/28 and online through March 29th.

A third opportunity to participate in Kerr Clean-up Day is coming up on Wednesday, March 27th from 3-4pm. If you are interested in participating in this event, please sign-up using the link. All participants should have attended a safety training prior to the clean-up day.

Our spring book fair is coming soon and we would LOVE help from our parents!!  Kerr Elementary School has approved a new incentive - For every volunteer shift, the volunteers parent will earn 50 points for their student(s) house color. This does NOT go to the student but the house overall. If a parent has more than one student or students in different houses, they still earn 50 points per student for each of their houses.

*We are currently in need of additional copy helpers for our wonderful teachers! Copy helpers do not need to make copies for their child's grade level, they can make them for other grades as well. Allen ISD Background Check

Interested in volunteering at Kerr Elementary or another Allen ISD school this year? Be sure to complete your required background check! Background checks take up to 2 weeks to complete. 

Don't miss an important event or school annoucement! Subscribe to our PTA calendar for flawless integration into your Google calendar or iCal. It's easy to do - just visit our website and go to My Account>Calendar Subscriptions. Select the calendars you'd like to subscribe to - PTA events like movie nights, bookfair and funfest will automatically update to your calendar.
