The Kerr PTA Nominating Committee is looking for a few more volunteers to serve on the 2024-2025 Kerr PTA Board! Join an awesome team of volunteers and make a difference at our school! Kerr PTA is excited to bring STEAM in-school programs for all students!

Kerr families! Please join us for an incredibly fun evening of hands-on STEAM! Wednesday February 28th from 6pm-8pm. This event is FREE courtesy of Kerr PTA! We have a TON for fun activities for all our Kerr families! *Please note this is not a drop off event - students must be accompanied by an adult.

Did you know? STEAM Night is a kickoff for our awesome In-School STEM Programming for 2024! Kinder & 1st Grade will be visited by 'Mad Science' in-school on the morning of February 28th. Grades 2-6 will have their STEM Programming later this Spring. For more information please see the STEM Programming flyer in this edition of Galaxy Press!

Kerr PTA will be providing teachers and staff with treats to celebrate Valentine's Day.  We would love to have your help with treat donations.  If you would like to donate please do so by selecting an item below. Registration for the 16th Annual Allen Eagle Run is now OPEN! The Allen ISD Eagle Run hosted by the Foundation For Allen Schools is a true community tradition! This year you can run the race four ways: 

(1) a Fun Run/Walk (1 mile)

(2) 5K Run/Walk on a USATF Certified Course 

(3) A Sleep in Entry (for those who simply want the shirt or 

(4) A Virtual Race from anywhere! All proceeds directly fund educational classroom grants, teacher support and student scholarships, along with Allen PTA programs and campus projects! Interested in volunteering at Kerr Elementary or another Allen ISD school this year? Be sure to complete your required background check! Background checks take up to 2 weeks to complete.
