The Galaxy Press is the free newsletter for the Kerr Elementary PTA. The newsletter contains articles about ongoing and upcoming PTA events, reminders, and news from our school. A second opportunity to participate in Kerr Clean Up day is coming up on Monday, January 29th from 3:00-4:00pm. All parents, students, and teachers who would like to participate need to complete the one-time mandatory Safety Training that will be held the week before on Monday, January 22nd from 3:00-4:00pm. PTA has some AMAZING in-school STEM programs planned for our Kerr Comets! These type of programs are only made possible through fundraising from our community! These things can’t happen without YOUR support. 

Kerr PTA presents STEAM Night! Wednesday, February 28th from 6pm-8pm @ Kerr Elementary!

Kerr families - join us for a incredibly fun evening of hands-on STEAM! Featuring Perot Museum, Creature Teacher, Mathnasium, iCode, STEAM center robotics team and WISE, and an Art Project!

We need parent and family volunteers to make this event possible - free events like these are only possible with your help! Please consider signing up today! Volunteer duties include math games, hands-on science activities, helping with decor/setup, volunteer check-in help, and so much more. Thank you for your help!

Kerr PTA will be providing teachers and staff with treats to celebrate Valentine's Day.  We would love to have your help with treat donations.  If you would like to donate please do so by selecting an item below.  Items can be delivered to the front office no later than Monday, February 12th. Spring Pictures are coming up and we could use your help. If you would like to volunteer, sign up HERE. 

Registration for the 16th Annual Allen Eagle Run is now OPEN! The Allen ISD Eagle Run hosted by the Foundation For Allen Schools is a true community tradition! This year you can run the race four ways: 

(1) a Fun Run/Walk (1 mile)

(2) 5K Run/Walk on a USATF Certified Course 

(3) A Sleep in Entry (for those who simply want the shirt or 

(4) A Virtual Race from anywhere! All proceeds directly fund educational classroom grants, teacher support and student scholarships, along with Allen PTA programs and campus projects! Interested in volunteering at Kerr Elementary or another Allen ISD school this year? Be sure to complete your required background check! Background checks take up to 2 weeks to complete.
