Kerr PTA is focused on working together with parents, teachers, and staff to provide various educational Programs, Family Events, Outreach, School and Faculty support, and so much more. We truly believe that working together as a school community, is better for all of us!

We have EXCITING things planned this year, but we can't do it without YOU! The activities, events, and educational support we are able to provide to the school relies on the support of our families through an annual PTA membership. A Kerr PTA membership not only helps to fund our goals, but also gives families a voice to advocate for children at our membership meetings.  

Kerr PTA also relies on the generous support from families and the community through donations, community sponsors and volunteers!  Volunteering at Kerr is an engaging and rewarding experience that makes a huge impact for our students and community. PTA is excited to host our first Kerr Event on Monday July 31st from 11am-12pm (immediately following Kindergarten Roundup). Welcome Kerr Comet Kindergartners! Join us at the Glendover Park Playground for meet and greet, popsicles, play and a visit from our school mascot - Comet! 

Welcome back Kerr Comets! Meet the Teacher Night is Tuesday August 8th from 4:30-6:30pm! Join us at Kerr Elementary to meet your new teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. Be sure to 'POP' by the Cafeteria to meet your PTA and learn about all the fun activities and events we have planned for our community this year! We have Ring Pops for our student visitors!

Still need school supplies? Kerr PTA will be selling a limited number of supply boxes on a first come first served basis. Stay tuned for more information! 

The Kerr PTA is excited to present Tears & Cheers on Thursday, August 10th! Kinder parents, please join us after drop-off in the Kerr Multipurpose Room for refreshments and to meet your new Principals!

Joining PTA supports academic programs, family events and so much more! The PTA works with school administration and staff, community leaders, and other parents on behalf of our kids. Being involved in your child's school matters and it makes a difference! Join us on this journey. 

BONUS! Did you know that becoming a PTA member also grants you access to our member directory? If a family has opted in to share information, parents can view emails and contact information for their student's classmates. A great way to organize playdates and fun with your student's friends!
