It's time for the Spring Box Top Contest! Scan, clip and submit Box Tops to your teacher now until Feb. 21.
 
The top class from each grade will earn a POPSICLE PARTY!

Arrival and Dismissal Procedure

Safety is a priority for our Kerr Comets and their families. As we enter our second semester of the school year, we would like to revisit our arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure everyone's safety in our school community.

As a reminder, cell phone use is prohibitedin school zones. Thank you in advance for working together to keep our Kerr Community safe!

PTA Membership Meeting: Next Tuesday

Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 6pm in the Kerr Multipurpose Room. This should be a quick meeting! Topics include budget amendments and committee member nominations. 

No program or refreshments will be provided.

Comet Shuffle: February 7

It’s time to get out your dancing shoes and practice your dance moves! Kerr’s annual family dance, the Comet Shuffle, brought to you by Kerr’s Music and PE departments, will be held on Friday, Feb. 7 from 7-9pm in the Kerr gym.

Advance sale tickets are $4.00 and can be purchased online only through Thursday, Feb. 6th. Tickets will also be sold at the door the for $5.00!

All students must be accompanied by an adult and everyone entering the dance must have a ticket!

Register for the Allen Eagle Run

The Allen Eagle Run will be held Feb. 29 at Eagle Stadium!Register online for only $25 until midnight Feb. 7.
 
Be sure to enter Kerr Elementary at registration. All proceeds directly fund classroom grants, teacher and student scholarships, Allen PTA programs and campus projects.

Gifted & Talented Phase 1 Testing 

Registration for phase 1 gifted/talented testing for students currently in grades 1-11 opens Jan. 23 and closes Feb. 13. Phase 1 testing takes place on Saturday, Feb. 29.  Visit the AISD Gifted & Talented page for more details.
