Kerr PTA is proud to sponsor ArtSparks-an art appreciation, visual literacy program by the
Allen Arts Alliance. This unique program allows parents to
engage with students in the classroom and enrich learning by presenting four, 30 minute programs between November and April--leading students in discussion about art. Training is provided and at-home preparation is 30 minutes or less.

(you don't have to have a child in class to volunteer).

The campaign concludes on October 4th with the Comet Craze 1 Mile. Parents are invited to register on their child’s fundraising page and join their kids for the 3rd annual chip-timed fun run at Glendover Park!Deadline for parent registration is Sept. 30!

Allen Fire Department Bookmark & Poster Contest
Fire Safety School Week: October 6-12
Kerr students are invited to participate in AllenFD's Fire Prevention Bookmark & Poster Contest. Entries are due to the school office by Friday, September 27.
Entries will be judged by Allen Fire Department personnel.
Two winning entries will be selected per school. Some winning entries will be on display at the Allen Library beginning the first week in October. Each winning entry will receive a RIDE 2 SCHOOL on an AllenFD apparatus, trophy, and a goody bag!
Box Tops Fall Challenge
From now through Oct. 25th the class in each grade level with the highest Box Top submission will earn exclusive bragging rights, an amazing trophy to decorate their classroom, and an EXTRA RECESS!
Scan your receipts with the Box Tops app, put your teacher's name under "Give Credit" AND send in clipped Box Tops to your teacher for double credit!

Calling All Kerr Dads: Join the Watch D.O.G.S.
The Kerr Community loves our Watch D.O.G.S.Volunteer Dads assists with various duties around the school and spend time with their children throughout the day.
