Especially on rainy days, please drive a little slower and pay close attention on your way to school. Be sure to drop off your student(s) closest to the curb and it is especially important to use the crosswalk.

Join Us for Abrakadoodle, Sept. 10 at 6pm
Join us for our 1st PTA Membership Meeting of the school year NEXT TUESDAY at 6pm in the Kerr Cafeteria!
Parents, teachers, students and siblings are all invited.
Abrakadoodle will be there to lead us in a creative art night. We will paint our own village mural, inspired by the artwork of Lily Yeh with other Kerr families. Please let us know you're coming so we have plenty of supplies.
Calling all Kerr Dads: Join the Watch D.O.G.S.
Watch D.O.G.S. is a national program that encourages fathers to volunteer in our schools. These awesome dads volunteer for a day at Kerr, assist with various duties around the school and spend time with their children throughout the day.
The Kerr community loves our Watch D.O.G.S.!

Comet Craze 2019 begins Friday, September 20th and is the primary fundraiser for Kerr PTA and a spiritraiser for the entire Kerr Elementary community. The campaign concludes on October 4th with the 3rd Annual Comet Craze 1 Mile Run!

Healthy, Working Snack Option for Students
This year ALL students will be given the option to eat a healthy, working snack each day. Students will be eating while working so please DO NOT send messy snacks, dips or snacks that require utensils.
Suggested Snack Include:
Fruit - grapes, apple slices, bananas, oranges, strawberries, plain raisins
Vegetables - carrots, celery
Any Kind of Cheese
Crackers - rice cakes, Goldfish, Cheddar Bunnies, Cheeze-its, Wheat Thins,
Popcorn (not popped in coconut oil)
NO NUT PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND, due to severe nut allergies. For the safety of our students, please read labels to ensure snacks do not say "PROCESSED OR MAY HAVE BEEN PROCESSED WITH PEANUTS."
