Join Us for Abrakadoodle, Sept. 10 at 6pm
Join us for our 1st PTA Membership Meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 10 at 6pm in the Kerr Cafeteria! Parents, teachers, students and siblings are all invited.
Abrakadoodle will be there to lead us in a creative art night. We will paint our own village mural, inspired by the artwork of Lily Yeh with other Kerr families. Please let us know you are planning to come so we can ensure we have plenty of materials for all families.

Healthy, Working Snack Option for Students
This year ALL students will be given the option to eat a healthy, working snack each day. Students will be eating while working so please DO NOT send messy snacks, dips or snacks that require utensils.
Suggested Snack Include:
Fruit - grapes, apple slices, bananas, oranges, strawberries, plain raisins
Vegetables - carrots, celery
Any Kind of Cheese
Crackers - rice cakes, Goldfish, Cheddar Bunnies, Cheeze-its, Wheat Thins,
Popcorn (not popped in coconut oil)
NO NUT PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND (Due to severe nut allergies). For the safety of our students, please read labels to ensure snacks do not say "PROCESSED OR MAY HAVE BEEN PROCESSED WITH PEANUTS."

Help Keep Our Kids Safe
Safety is a priority for our Kerr Comets and their families. Please review the safety tips below:
Review the arrival and dismissal map on the Kerr website to know which morning drop off location you should utilize. It is based on where you live and not your child’s grade level.
The school zone speed limit is 20 mph on surrounding roads near Kerr Elementary.
While pulling in and out of the carpool lanes and parking lots, please drive slowly as we have staff, students and families walking across crosswalks.
Avoid driving through cones in the carpool lanes.
Students should be escorted in the parking lots at all times.
When exiting the front carpool lane in the morning arrival time, it is a right turn only onto Glendover Drive.
When exiting the west side carpool lane in the morning arrival time, it is a left turn only onto Glendover Drive
- Please be courteous to other drivers and take turns at stops signs.
